Newburyport Farmers Market

Welcome to the one of the best weekly events in Newburyport! Every Sunday from 9:00 to 1:00, rain or shine, farmers from across the area bring the freshest of their produce. But the market isn't restricted to fruit and vegetables. There is fresh fish from Gloucester, lamb and goat products, delicious baked goods, herbs, granola and coffees and teas - hot and cold. Hungry, get a pulled pork sandwich or an omelet with locally raised pork and chicken and homemade sausages.

And music!! Every week a different group that ranges from rock to country to folk to classical. It is like a giant cocktail party. You run into everyone you know. Fun, delicious and supporting local businesses.

Come to the Tannery parking lot on Sundays from 9:00 - 1:00 and have a blast!

Old fashioned baseball

Want to spend a fun and relaxing afternoon? Come to the historic Spencer-Pierce -Little Farm in Newbury, MA for a game of Vintage Baseball.

Vintage baseball follows 1861 rules with no gloves but bounces allowed. For the past five years teams have been meeting at the Farm and in the past couple years Ipswich Ale, a great local brewery, has been not only providing refreshments, but now a team as well - the Ipswitch Brewers.

See the links below for the schedule for the rest of the summer. It's great fun! So bring a blanket or chair and mosquito spray, sit back with cold one and enjoy.
